Products Description LEANOMS
The most popular piercing technique currently is DTH.
A down-the-hole drill, officially abbreviated as DTH, is generally a pneumatically driven rock or ground drill in which the percussion mechanism is placed immediately behind the drill bit so that it descends into the drill hole with the hammer bit. The down the hole bit obtain compressed air as well as the required feed political influence and rotation from the drill pipes.
Benefits such as superior hole straightness, excellent hole cleansing, smooth, even walls for simple explosive charging, deep hole drilling capacity, and efficient energy transfer have successfully displaced other drilling techniques.
It is simple to maximize the layout of a quarry or open pit mine using the DTH technique. Additionally, DTH is ideally suited for a wide range of additional uses, including drilling for water wells, research, foundations, anchoring, and geothermal openings.
Drilling equipment for down the hole, including drill pipe, bit, and hammer. The down the hole hammer bit is made of steel and tungsten carbide buttons, and its surface is compressed during a special thermal process to increase its toughness and wear resistance.
